VL, what is a "regular" bullet? Only the military is limited to FMJ's due to the Geneva Convention, not civilians shooting self propelled trash. Hollow points/controlled expansion rounds are safer due to not over penetrating the intended scumbag. You're like a wicked case of dysentery, you open your mouth and God knows what will come out.

It's a bullet that doesn't fragment upon impact- and personaly i'd rather be shot with a regular bullet than a hollow point. I think it would be really sweet of trouble to give an alledged assailant a chance to stop and live with a few regular bullets first. It would be a nice thing to do.
