Since those other posters started their thread for fantasy football, I thought I would start this one.
I guess we need to decide whether it will be pick 3 or pick 5. Same rules as last year?
- all picks before kickoff of the games picked
- W, L, Ties will be tracked
- In the case of a tie at the end of the season?
- Use the same opening spread as last year? Or can we wait until the spread changes that are posted later in the week before the games that week?
- Anything else?
I think the only fair way is to use the opening spreads. Otherwise someone has to track what the spread was when...Opening spreads don't change, so that way it doesn't matter if someone forgets to pick till saturday...they are using the same spread as those who picked on tuesday.
Otherwise I think your rules are great!
I prefer pick 3, but will do whatever everyone wants.
Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!
I'm in, and feeling lucky. It will be a great season,
How about the prize to the winner. $100, gift cert to any advertiser on MMT.of the winners choice.
My treat.
More interesting if there is something to win.

Wow jmc...thanks! Definitely worth people trying. Makes it a real contest!!
We need to set hard and fast rules then...so no arguing since there is more than just pride on the line!!
Yeah, I'll keep score again. Should be the job of last year's winner (cough...cough...Hoot Owl), but I'll suck it up and do it again!!

I'll toss in an LED lightbulb again too, just for that special treat! (I still owe Hoot Owl hers - it's in my office desk drawer still. D'oh!).
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
