Since we're apparently using the Wayback Machine tonight..
• In 2008, there were 6.4 million pregnancies to the 62 million women of reproductive age (15-44) in the United States. Sixty-six percent of these pregnancies resulted in live births and 19% in abortions; the remaining 15% ended in miscarriage.
• In Maryland, 130,500 of the 1,182,788 women of reproductive age became pregnant in 2008. 59% of these pregnancies resulted in live births and 26% in induced abortions.
• In 2008, 1.2 million American women obtained abortions, producing a rate of 19.6 abortions per 1,000 women of reproductive age. The rate is virtually unchanged from 2005, when the abortion rate was 19.4 abortions per 1,000 women 15-44.
• In 2008, 34,290 women obtained abortions in Maryland, producing a rate of 29 abortions per 1,000 women of reproductive age. Some of these women were from other states, and some Maryland residents had abortions in other states, so this rate may not reflect the abortion rate of state residents. The rate decreased 8% since 2005, when it was 31.5 abortions per 1,000 women 15-44. Abortions in Maryland represent 2.8% of all abortions in the United States.
You think the number of abortions is going to magically increase since the women will still have to pay for them, just like they did in 2008? Did it ever occur to you that pregnancies will increase if women don't have access to family planning and free birth control? But the more the merrier, right? As long as you don't have to support the pregnant mothers.
Reid rightly points out that it is illegal, according to federal law, to use federal funds to pay for abortion. However, the Title 10 program currently funds health care services indiscriminately, giving funding to clinics and organizations that also provide abortions, sometimes in the same building.

Title 10 funds are NOT used indiscriminately, and do NOT pay for abortions... Period. Either you are regurgitating the usual incorrect talking points, or you are deliberately saying things that you know to be lies.
"The time for the much needed demise of our two-party system is here. It is such a joke to think that either of these parties really speak for the working middle class."
And this truly hits the nail on the head. regardless of our votes, the average person - all of us - are not even being considered.
