Liberals don't get that part! They just repeat what the talking heads on the liberal media tell them to say. Even when it is totally wrong.

YOUR rights. Your right to privacy, not the terrorists' rights. Wiretapping here, in America. Got it?
I don't want Bush, Obama, Cheney, Biden, Pelosi, Boehner or anybody listening in to my phone calls, reading my emails, do you? Sounds to me like you wouldn't mind Barney Frank watching you on your computer camera while you watch internet porn.
Ah-I'm just gonna step aside and let you work your magic on this guy Kate- Keep up the good work! You're killin em

How do you know it was just on the terrorists? How many innocent Americans were tapped to get to the terrorists? How do you know that someone wasn't listening to your phone sex conversation you had with your girlfriend?
I cannot believe that most conservatives are for government intrusion into their personal lives. What other rights are you willing to give up so that you can live in safety?

That is where it started, but they still needed the wiretapping laws to be able to listen in on the conversations of the courier.LadyJazzer wrote: Bullsh*t...
OBL is dead because of intel they got at Gitmo... But thanks for playing....
Looks like Bush really knew what he was doing compared to our affirmative action president who was against both Gitmo and the Patriot act.
Something the Dog Said wrote: What Viking and the other Bush worshippers forgot to mention, is that the intelligence agencies have always had the ability to tap the phones of suspected terrorists. What the Bush "wiretapping bill" did was eliminate the need to have prior approval by the FISC courts within 72 hours of the wiretap and allows the intelligence agencies to tap conversations merely based on their suspicions. Since there was prior intelligence in regard to the courier having ties to terrorist organizations, it would have been simple to obtain the appropriate warrant, thus the "Bush wiretapping bill" had no bearing on this incident.
