I truly to hear and understand what you're saying Soulshiner and I'm sorry if it sounds like I'm trying to discount people's feelings. I'm not. I guess my point is that you can have two people who REALLY disagree (and perhaps are even disrespectful to each other) on a message board and when they meet and face-to-face they chill out a bit, get to know the person some, find commonalites, and perhaps laugh. It is so easy to be a "hard-ass" on a message board (especially if you're trying to get a rise out of people.......'cough, cough'........sound like anyone you know? VL ). I do agree with you that some people I know seem like one person on-line (at times) and another in person. I think partly that can be contributed to how impersonal (I don't think that is exactly the word I'm searching for but you get the jist) can be. Do you live up here SS (if that's not too personal a question to ask)?
