Here's something you might find interesting.

I don't keep track of who's male or female, because I really don't care. Some are obvious due to usernames, but if the username doesn't explicitly tell me, I assume nothing. I have no idea if you are a man or a woman, I have no idea what your skin color is. To me you are a collection of words on a screen - a thought. If I disagree with that thought, I'll post up and disagree. If you attack, I'll respond in kind.

I think some women might be put off by the responses they get on the internet. In face to face interactions, I treat women differently than men. I was rasied to be a gentleman, and if a woman is rude to me, I just put her in the 'bitch' category, keep my mouth shut and go on with life. But on the internet, if a woman is rude, and I'm not concerned with the sex of the author, they'll get what's coming.

Wow, 2 paragraphs and about 20 "I"s, 10 "i'll"s and a few "I'm"s....I [/b] just can't i [/b]magi [/b]ne anyone cari [/b]ng that much about what you thi [/b]nk NTM...And furthermore just because I'm [/b] civil to someone i [/b]n person doesn't mean I [/b] don't thi [/b]nk they are an i [/b]di [/b]ot- I [/b]t just means i [/b] don't want to go nose to nose with someone. Nowadays you can get arrested for yelling at people...I [/b] know

Wow! 14 uses of "I". Why has your real estate agent not copyrighted "I" for you?

What is wrong with the use of the word "I" when you are talking about yourself? What word would you prefer? Or are you pointing out that Vicelord is extremely egocentric? The simple fact is that there are quite a few here that prefer to attack personalities then to discuss issues. It's intellectually lazy.

This thread has now gone to the surreal.

Regards,
Major Bean

Did you see where Obama signed some guest book in England with the wrong date? I'm sure there's a conspiracy in there somewhere...I personally think it was a secret signal to his Muslim operatives back home to activate the tornados in Missouri

huh?

I know that there are a couple of women here that can give as good as they get but I don't see that women are overly picked on here.

Really? You don't find that Archer and Ladyjazzer are attacked with extraordinary viciousness about their ages/sexual orientation/appearance than the men with opposing views are? It seems glaring to me.

Recently I learned that Scruffy is archer. The Scruffy avatar showed an older man with a mustache. Should women be treated by a different standard than men? Should we have to show proof of sex, sexual preference and so on, or be treated as our posts direct?

Like I said....."some women give as good as they get.
Do you think that LJ doesn't post with a certain amount of viciousness at times?
I guess you could say that she pics on men. Should I think that of LJ simply because of her tone?
Archer can hold her own in any crowd.

You know what really bothers me about that comment......?

That you use one of the most negative posters on this board as your example.

One more thing.....I don't condone anyone ever using race, sexual preference or gender as an excuse to brow beat any member here. Just ask those who have tried it.
