Not to bust Nmysys's chops, and I certainly wouldn't call this hateful, but it is an example of his inappropriately blaming things on liberals. All I see in the thread is people discussing their POV and information, not trying to change the course of the thread.

This thread seems to have fizzled out because the objectors to it have failed to validate or stand up to any of their claims. A typical liberal mentality has erupted, of trying to change the course of the thread to their argument rather than expounding on the points of the argument itself.
Now, after reading through all of Nmysys's posts in the Study, I have to say that he was certainly much more level-headed and willing to discuss his viewpoint with others. I like that Nmysys!
I will answer this for the last time because I am not interested in arguing. I personally have no knowledge of this Mark Williams so I can only revert to my last comment. I don't approve of racism in any form personally.
I don't know how to convince you of that so I won't even try. I have known and still know people of all ethnic backgrounds, have served in the military with all ethnic backgrounds, have traveled to most of the world, speak some of 19 different languages in order to try to befriend people of all these ethnic backgrounds. I personally met Dr. Martin Luther King just before he was murdered in Memphis, considered him to be one of the most charismatic human beings I had ever encountered in my life at that time and still do today.
I consider most of the Hispanic people I know to be of the highest moral character, value system, etc., but I personally do not approve of anything illegal, therefore I feel that illegal immigrants are still"illegal", no matter how you look at it. I do not know the solution to the problem, do not profess to know it all on any subject, but I personally am not content to have open borders, and no other country in this world has open borders.
You can pick at my responses, judge me any way you choose, but I will no longer be baited by anyone on this or any other forum. No, I won't be asking for proof of citizenship at our meetings, but I doubt you will be there any way, as they will not be advertised on open forums, in order to allow us to try to establish some kind of mission statement, ideas, and directions.

I don't put much faith in the archives as people can go back and edit or delete comments. It makes for an imcomplete record of events and allows people to edit the dialog to suit their ends. If you go back and edit or delete comments you've made, it's dishonest and you shouldn't make them in the first place. We've all seen where people have challenged someone to find where they said something and it has been deleted, but were saved by someone else to bring up when they are asked for proof. It seems a bit off for people to insult people and call them names on line and then expect that when they meet face to face that it will become a hug fest. Should LadyJazzer just forget all of the name calling and insinuations of her sexual preference and take a group picture with those that slam her? Should Archer? Those two are subject to the most vicious of attacks on here.
Should anyone on here forget the awful and brutal personal attacks about themselves that have been posted by people that disagree with them? They should have never been posted in the first place.
If everyone wants to be a community of people that disagree yet get along, there are a few people on here that need to bring down their venom. They also need to stop the phishing. Posting things just to get a rise out of someone that disagrees with you so you can attack them is pretty weak as well.
You know, without heavy moderation, this board has descended into a drunken sh*t throwing match. Everyone has been allowed to have a forum without much supervision and let to our own devices, we have reverted to school boy insults and name calling. Not much to be proud of in my honest opinion.

Though not necessarily OK with it soulshiner, I understand it. It seems like several posters have a real problem with uppity, opinionated women. From the first day I walked into a professional job in a man's field some 40 years ago, I have had to fight the good fight for women who refuse to just "take it" when attacked for their opinions. I guess I never could break the habit of fighting back. I thought I might mellow with age, but there are a few who bring out the worst in me.....an I in them.
Yes this place can be pretty nasty, but I still wouldn't change it to a moderated site.....all the heart goes out of a discussion when you have to watch what you say too carefully.

After last weeks lunch, I tried to dial it down, and it worked, for a while.....till I realized that for it to work long term everyone needs to dial it down, not just a few.
I am not going to try to defend every post I have done here on 285Bound, but if you SC read every bit of the thread you are referring to, you will see that I was defending the local Tea Party Group from being called racists. I didn't start the thread, but each time I got a notice (e-mail) of another post, went back and read it and responded. I don't really give a damn if you like this Nmysys or not here on 285Bound, since you now own it, you can always ban me. I post my opinions and I post topics that I think will cause controversy. I have never started an attack but have responded to attacks from LJ and Archer constantly and as far as I am concerned Soulshiner, if you want to clean up this forum or anywhere else, start with yourself and those who you seem so intent on protecting like LJ ( the HATE QUEEN) and Archer. Archer always reverses herself to act like she is so innocent.
BTW the 12 items you read were a copy and paste tongue in cheek rebuttal of Liberals, but I din't post them on Pinecam as far as I remember or can find.
