For a US senator to ridicule a person for testifying in Spanish, because they were not sure they could testify as well in English, because it IS their second language.....is disrespectful, demeaning, and just plain stupid. That the conservatives here would applaud such boorish behavior, I guess I should have expected that.

Uhh. A Texas state senator. But ignorance of the subject does not stop a liberal.

When did texas cease to be part of the US? Like we should be so lucky.

You must have loved Roy Rogers because he was what you could never be: decent.

This? From the master of the demeaning and insulting posts? Amusing that you would throw stones from your glass house major bean.

Do you mean to tell me that a U.S. senator is the same as a Texas state senator? Really?

Only contradiction is the narrow minds where there is no room to maneuver.I can hold contradictory thoughts unlike you. I don't need to keep things that simple stupid. Try a little complexity in your ideas , makes things more interesting. If someone spouts racist views , I will call them out, sorry you want me to be a simpleton ,caricature that fits your stereotype. Ain't gonna happen.ps: the racist scum comment was over the top, for that, I apologize.

Roy would have been ashamed of you. He lived the decency that he portrayed.

I doubt Roy or Dale care much about the immigration issues although I know you like to think they would agree with you, sounds like a narcissistic disorder.

Nope...I'm saying that if you aren't intelligent enough to figure out who I was referring to then I can't help you.

Naw, Roy would disapprove of your vile name calling and you know that is what I was referring. Nice deflection, though. You might want to play dumb, but I know that you are not that thick headed.

You said that Harris was a U.S. senator, but he is not. He is a Texas state senator. Wow! you are really trying to wriggle out of your display of ignorance? That is amazing! Even for a liberal.

You just love your stereotypes:
Reagan did not give amnesty or raise taxes.Bush did not expand medicare, , do nation building, or expand the federal gov. influence in education.
You live in a make believe world where all that you believe is pure and the rest is your simplistic caricature and if someone doesn't fit it you go haywire.
Life is just not simple enough for you. So you know that Roy Rogers would hate me? I am devastated.

Those childhood heroes were the perfection to which we aspire. If you aim high you may not hit the target, but you will come far closer to the mark than if you do not aim at all. Just because you cannot have a sweet chocolate candy does not mean that you should eat dog manure in spite. Just because you cannot live the perfect life of your ideal does not mean that you turn to vulgarity in spite.

If you cannot achieve the highest morals you should sink to the lowest? Come on! You do not believe that.
