The use of "inseparable" is still a bit troublesome as could be taken to imply that the states may not separate themselves from the union though. If "inseparable" is seen as meaning that coordinate sovereignty is an integral part of that perfect union, however, then it does a much better job of informing the populace and explaining our system of government in proper terms.
