Rick Perry will be our President in 2013

He's getting closer. I hope he joins before the nest debate but he may let them tear into one another one more time as there is still another debate in Iowa coming up in a couple months.

Rick Perry Will Give the Republicans A Heavy Hitter for 2012
After mulling the issue and seeing his opponents fail to catch fire, Texas Governor Rick Perry, a heavyweight, is about to enter the fray.

If Perry gets the nomination, the Democrats most will most assuredly find weak points in his stewardship, but Perry can take pride in the fact that Texas has generated the most jobs since 2009 – a major selling point in a country flirting with double digit unemployment.

The Texas Governor has enough of a record to rally social and economic conservatives. He is pro-life and he signed a law in Texas enshrining traditional marriage. Economically he cut state spending.

While conservatives can feel confident with him, he does not scare off moderates. His response to the New York State law that allowed for same-sex "marriage" displayed his political deftness. On the one hand, Perry is on record as supporting traditional marriage. He however called the New York law that state's prerogative. In other words he defended the New York legislature's passage of the law on the conservative grounds of state's rights and as representing the will of local voters rather than judge-imposed law.

What I find so funny is that the Libs keep pulling out the same 4-6 issues. Over ten years as a Governor of one of the largest and most successful states with the most job growth in the country, (which is top on most people's lists right now), that is not too bad. He has been in office for 28 years and EVERYONE in political office will have bad votes and decisions in that long of a period of time but his success record is 40 times more impressive. Compare that to Obama's 2 1/2 years in the Presidency, and there are about 20 failures and terrible decisions that you can talk about already. It will be fun to compare their records. Looking forward to THAT debate. He can't use a teleprompter during a debate and I KNOW he won't be able to blame BUSH to get elected this time!

Perry / West
Perry / Rubio
Perry / Bachman

2012!!

It'll be Perry/Bachman just because that's the worst possible ticket the R's could come up with. Hope you're looking forward to another 4 years of Obama.

A career politician, huh? Gotta give him credit for being an Eagle Scout though.
