UPDATE: I was stung, and I mean stung by a huge Sting Ray while shark fishing in the gulf yesterday. I was standing in 3-4 foot of water when he got me. We were a mile away from our Penthouse Condo and the walk back was a marathon of misery. My foot turned into a block of wood and the poison went all the way up my leg. My wife said it would have killed most men...Blood all over the beach (in my pictures) and it's still bleeding now. I refuse to go to the doctor. I felt the shock through my entire body, it was brutal. I'm fine now though...If it ever happens to you, stick your foot in almost boiling water..It currdles the poison, unfortunately with my mile walk the poison went all over my body. I feel stronger for having rode it out like I did...Stay tuned for more updates
That's some pretty powerful poison...You may feel better now, but the effects on internal organs is something I wouldn't want to take a chance on and "tough it out."
Thanks friends..I feel 100% now, but for an hour yesterday it was touch n go..Lil Precious was crying. It felt like a cattle prod with a knife on the end of it and when the blade hit the bone I felt electricity go through my entire skeliton, in fact for a second I thought I touched a underwater high power electric line or something..There was a clean 1 inch incision, a deep wound and we are wondering if the barb is still in there..I don't think it is..
anyway it's all good because I believe i'm stronger now, and the wife thinks i'm some kind of super hero- I will say this though..Here's what you don't want to do after you get stung- You don't want to stand around, drink a beer and smoke a cigar right afterwards, and you definately don't want to pour cold beer on the wound.

I still think you should take a bit of time and go see a doctor. It wouldn't be a bad idea to maybe get on an antibiotic especially if you're flying home in a few weeks. You never know and it's better to be safe than sorry. I bet the docs there have more experience with that type of thing than the docs here if you come home and need to go in. Lil Precious will thank me!

Just be gentle with the nurses ok? They are innocent girls and might not be used to a crazy guy from Bailey Colorado. Don't give all of us here a bad name. lol

Wow, would love to see the pics of that. What is the link again?
UPDATE: I'm A-Ok, and all systems are go and I suffered no ill effects whatsoever. In fact, I never felt better..That poison was actually good for me.
I added to the slideshow today and pictured is my patended Wild Conch Saveechay..You can't get it in Colorado. I got the conch on the morning of the Sting Ray attack, and we soaked in over night in pure lime juice freshly sqeezed from pure organic limes. It actually cooks overnight in the lime juice. It was the best stuff ever, in fact...I'm going to have it for breakfest shortly..Another great day in Florida on Tap.
Back to the Conch..I got them off the bottom, they live in big shells..Some swedish or German people thought I was just trying to get the decorative shells they live in. They were all upset and telling us "they are alive! Don't kill them!" I tried to explain to them that here in America, we eat these things..They did'nt understand so I just told them to 'get the fuk away from us"
