I'm gonna lay in the blazing sun for two hours, then sip two ice cold Dale's Pale Ale's, then bring lil Precious to the Fish House Resturaunt for fried Grouper sandwich, a few brews and whatever else we want....Then we will shop around, stop by the Dog track for a few minutes to make a few bets..then probably come back, then do who knows what really-walk on the beach, watch a movie and go to bed probably...I crashed at 930 last night and woke up at 830...I'm averaging 10 hours a night

Hey VL, I see you have a MAJOR hurricane coming your way (Dora). I think you guys are still there for a few more days right? Hope both take care and stay safe! :sunshine:

Next thing we will hear about is how VL was surfing 100 ft waves during the hurricane at 150mph winds, all with one hand waving while he was drinking a beer with the other! Make sure you send pictures VL!

No, a beer in one hand and he was saving a baby seal with the other from a 30 foot great white! Which he proceeded to kill by throwing the beer at it and hitting it right btween the eyes! Unfortunately the Shark was eaten by a 60 foot great white so he doesn't have the body or any pictures.

Hey buddy, be careful. Its amazing how many rays you see in the season down there. You're just lucky it wasn't jellyfish season.

Thanks SG! I did'nt know about that one..Ive been following tropical depression Brett and had no idea there was another threat looming out there. I'll check it out now- because I don't know if you know this but i'm an amature meterologist. I acurately predicted all the big blizzards weve had in the last 4 or 5 years, and predicted them well before ch annel 7 or 9 did. It's all documented on other boards. I also predicted Katrina when it was little more than a tropical depression off the coast of Africa...If one is coming this way, we'll stay to experience it.

Not suprised though, tragidy usually follows us ,last year we got out of Port au Prince days before it turned into rumble, then we fled to Hawaii and smack dab into the feb 27th tsunami, and this year we were in and out of Japan during a micronesia excursion and you know what happened to them..So I wouldnt be suprised in Florida got Katrina'd after we leave..It would be par for the proverbial course.

Are your weather predictions like your gambling picks, after the fact?

VL, see if you can rent a sail boat and get pictures from the eye of the Hurricane. I hear it is real calm in there, so no danger. :)

Have you ever seen sting rays mate? It's facinating. They do it doggy style. I might have stepped on a mating pair because the rays will usually see you coming and get out of the way..Maybe that pair were past the point of no return and werent stopping for anything. It happens...

It happened to me and Lil Precious once down by the river
