Obama promised bipartisandship, but instead he plays the blame game.
It is Bush's fault.
It is the TEA Parties fault.
It is the Tsunami's fault.
It is the Arab Spring's fault.
Whine, whine, whine.

Some people who are challenged step up and and create solutions, Obama just whines. Maybe because he has never been a executive before?

"Present" (But is he really?)

Can we exhume Harry Truman(D) and once again have a President who knows the buck stops here?

Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.

It takes two sides willing to make a bipartisan coalition work. The Republicans not only weren't willing, they were actively obstructionist of any attempt in that direction.

In my opinion, he tried far longer than he should have to make a bipartisan effort work.

If you want to blame him for something, blame him for naive idealism in even thinking it could work in this toxic political climate.

Is that supposed to be funny? Because it isn't. It's just juvenile, like your friends in Congress.

AV, I blame Obama for doing almost nothing but pissing away tax dollars for the last two plus years and the Democratic controlled Congress for much longer and the same thing.

The silent majority will be silent no more.

I can't help but wonder if Barry has such an unrealistic view of the world that he thinks he can simply give a televised speech and everything will be all better...

No insult to John Belushi, Bluto, or the fine creators of the movie intended.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Failed democracy for sure. We are now officially a pathocracy-Rule by Sociopaths (courtesy of Andrew Lobaczewski) and a plutocracy or an oligarchy or all three. No wonder we are so f$$$$$.

Lordy but the crap that spews from the hyper-partisan babblers is amusing. Are you all really so clueless? We are being played yet again by the PTB and the only thing most of the dimbulbs can focus their myopic vision on is that up-close shiny object that sets off an alarm in your puny reptilian brain. We are screwed because so many of you are so freaking STUPID and refuse to accept the fact that you really have no idea WTF is going on other than the fact that the half black guy is "in charge".

How did we get here? This all suddenly went down in Jan 2009? Gawd what dopes.

You do not understand basic math. You do not understand cause and effect. You rarely acknowledge any responsibility for the bad decisions and choices of those you blindly follow. You do not understand tax policy or why civilized societies actually need taxes. You live lives full of magical thinking and are easily manipulated by propaganda. You believe government is the problem until you get the reins of power and then nothing is off limits to the foolishness. You rack up huge debt with illegal and immoral wars. You cut taxes and gut regulations at the same time and then after it all crashes in you have the gall to blame government but only once the other party is in power. You prove over and over that you have no idea how to actually run a government, so you ultimately prove that your version of government is the problem. Now this applies to the Dems as well because they have done very little to reverse any of the putrid policies of the past administration. And I fear for my country because of them and those that can see nothing beyond their petty partisanship. Shameful.

I have wondered why S&P didn't have a hissy fit back in December or January when the Bush tax cuts were extended. Weren't they concerned then about our declining revenue that they cite as a huge concern now? Were you aware that they made some very fundamental, large calculation errors in their analysis but downgraded anyway and took their faulty figures out? Do you have any clue that these are the very same characters that contributed, hugely, to the mortgage toxic instruments that sank our economy in 2008 to now? Do you understand that the ratings agencies are much like the credit bureaus and give their ratings based on their belief that a company or country will pay its debts? Do you truly believe that our country will not? And if you do believe that, why? Does any of this mean anything to you? Do you have even the slightest understanding of anything beyond Obama? He is but another in a long line of corporate hacks and you are so blinded you can't see it. He has been doing the bidding of his Wall Street corporate masters all along. It will be interesting to see if they really want to keep him around for another four years.

How did we get here? How did we get so many angry, easily manipulated, pitiful, frightened nincompoops? You really should stop listening to Rush, reading Drudge, and watching Fox. It is bad for your health and the health of our country. Try to think outside the cage once in awhile.
