Wisconsin D-Day...

The D Kool Aid is wearing off.... LOL LOL

Another DEFEAT of the Marxian Socialist who want to ruin America. PUBLIC EMPLOYEE UNION LOSES MILLIONS OF DOLLARS OF PUBLIC EMPLOYEE MONEY AGAIN! It's a great day for America. LOL LOL Gotta love the economic stimulus the unions gave the local media...

Fueled by millions of dollars from national labor groups, the attempt to remove GOP incumbents served as both a referendum on Walker's conservative revolution and could provide a new gauge of the public mood less than a year after Republicans made sweeping gains in this state and many others.

In very simple terms; the rest of this country is getting tired of the left wing-nuts and their greedy unions. You lost, now accept it and please go away!

I truly believe the majority of Americans who don't work for the press or post on blogs, etc believe you should live within your means. Wisconsin is a great example of the silent majority saying no more.

Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!

NPR was saying this morning that in Wisconsin it is very difficult to recall the governor, so Mr Walker will probably get his full term.

The MacIver News Service has reported that more than $11 million in labor union money has been shuffled into Wisconsin to fund third party political advertising to benefit the Democratic candidates. Earlier this week we also reported on a Get Out the Vote Scheme that appeared to run afoul of Wisconsin election law. The group, Wisconsin Jobs Now! was offering food and prizes to voters who then hopped in a van and were shuttled to Milwaukee City Hall to vote early via absentee ballot. (The use of ‘walking around money’ and such inducements for voting may be common in other states but they are illegal in Wisconsin.)

Ahhh- can't really believe that liberal media any more LJ. They were lying to you!

And the common man, he's on to the union scam, the jig is nearly up.

And all the kings horses - and all the kings men, couldn't put the unions back together again!

This election was heavily slanted by millions of dollars of union money pouring in from all over the country- supported by a lying liberal media. If you went by the news reports- the republicans were gonna get hanged.

Fueled by millions of dollars from national labor groups, the attempt to remove GOP incumbents served as both a referendum on Walker's conservative revolution and could provide a new gauge of the public mood less than a year after Republicans made sweeping gains in this state and many others.

It all amounted to a summer unlike any other in Wisconsin. More than $31 million was estimated to have been spent on the nine recall efforts, rivaling the $37 million spent on last year's governor's race.

"I feel that a lot of people didn't get their way, threw a crybaby fit and decided to have a recall. The majority of Wisconsin already voted," said 43-year-old Ross Birkigt of Menomonee Falls. "It's a shame that all of sudden this happens and that a lot of special-interest money gets poured into it. I'm kind getting sick of seeing this stuff on TV every single minute.

The liberals gave it their best shot- with lots of out of state money - and lost!. There's a clear trend here.

There's many a slip 'twixt the cup and the lip!

Two bites at the same apple, millions of dollars of hard working member dues flushed down the toilet that could have been used to help out of work union members stay in their homes, feed their families or cover their medical bills - all to no avail. The common working man in Wisconsin sees that the public sector unions and their workers are stealing from them by engaging in conflict of interest collective bargaining which results in agreements that will ultimately result in their being taxed twice (once for the original pension contribution and again to make up the inevitable unfunded liabilities of defined benefit pension plans down the road) and are unwilling to allow special interest public unions or their members to purchase seats at the negotiating table any longer. HUZZAH! to the citizens of the state of Wisconsin. With any luck, a week from now 2 Democrat Senators will be losing their seats for fleeing their post and the gains seen from taking a second bite at the apple will be lost.
