In a Democratic state! The Democrat revolution to allow fiscal irresponsibility is almost over!

They just called it for the Republican. They hold the Senate after months of liberals bragging how they would teach fiscally responsible people a lesson not to take on big Unions. How did that turn out for ya?

Actually this was a d state in 2009. The r's swept in '10. If they can decrease deficits and increase employment then this will be seen as a d death spasm.

............"To review, public sector unions rammed through a recall effort against six Republican legislators in an attempt to overturn Governor Scott Walker’s legislation ending collective bargaining privileges for public sector employees. The importance of that legislation was clear: Wisconsin, like other states, has been held hostage by the benefits and pay requirements guaranteed to public sector unions.

The unions fought back. In this election, they poured in more than $14 million to the Senate races. That’s not counting member-to-member communications and issue advocacy numbers, according to the invaluable MacIver Institute.

If Democrats had won back the Senate less than a year after Republicans took control, there is little doubt that the liberal media would have claimed that Republicans overreached in their attempts to cut back spending. They would have called the population of Wisconsin “moderate” and said that this was an excellent omen for Democrats in 2012. None of that would have been true. Republicans did not overreach; they did what was necessary. And this is not any sort of predictor for Democrats in 2012 – Wisconsin is a blue state, and money has outsized influence.

Nonetheless, the recall effort provides a warning for Republicans: money matters"

2010 was a referendum on the Dems and how they handled things for 4 years. Now the Dems tried to take it back and thought they would easily but they got spanked!

It appears that the voters in 4 of 6 recall election contests have spoken their desires. Now it is time to hear all of the whining, spiting and hissy fits of the Democrats about election fraud, cheating, you'll be sorry and other nasty little childish remarks.

I guess for the special interest public unions D-Day in Wisconsin means DEFEATED-Day and shows that even in union friendly states like Wisconsin they can no longer buy elections with union dues.

Wow. I guess regardless of liberal propaganda, the majority of people in this nation still exhibit an ounce of common sense. These results are what you're about to witness in 2012 regardless of what picture the media and Obama want to paint for you :VeryScared:
