Absolutely they are, that comes with being President of the United States....but those expenses are there if he is in Washington DC or in Martha's Vineyard. This all seems like such a petty outrage......It's like you don't want him to have any of the advantages of being President that those that have gone before him have enjoyed. Why is that?

Would be nice to see him be a leader and take charge of the Office instead of taking the "advantages" as you say.

So, nose to the grindstone and all that......heaven forbid the man should spend some time with his wife and daughters. That is just not allowed if you are a Democrat.

If Obama did anything you actually approved of you would find a way to bash it......that's just the way it is.

I missed a ton of time with my kids and family because of WORK,, something the man has no comprehension of.

The point is, people are losing their homes, they can't pay their bills, and they can't feed their kids, and the Leader of the American people takes a vacation and flaunts it in their faces.

And yes, Bush took more vacations than anyone, during the early months of the war, after 911....all through his presidency, even when the economy was tanking faster than his approval ratings.....did you whine and moan about that?

Yes I did, little dictator bush floated through his second term. He did read books to kindergardeners, though he probably ad lib'd most of the stories.
