But we don't give them a hand up..
we supply just enough for them to get by....never enough for them to get out.

Uh oh do we know each other and not know it? I have some hysterical stories about this person. It would be funny if she were not so terrifying.

We supply enough to cover the basics. We should not lift them up, we should only keep them from falling flat.

There are many that have made it out of poverty. Last time I was unemployed I was amazed how easy it is to get into the job center and look for employment - you'd think that the lines would be out the door. It was a couple of hour wait to apply for food stamps, but no waiting for the job listing terminals.

You can't help someone until they want the help more than they want a free ride.

That's bullsh** and you know it. You're as bad as RT, just the political mirror image.

What the hell do you think will happen to them if you take away welfare and food stamps and medical care? They are suddenly going to get educated...get good jobs...and become middle class citizens?

What an insular world you all live in.

I have seen them....they were constructed by Democrat governments. The Democrats gave them hand out incentives to have more generations of potential voters. Nuff said.

I am sure....they would have died off after the first generation....interesting how that works. As usual, you attack me instead of the post. Which political party advocated the buildling of projects? Which political wanted to herd the blacks and poor into a certain part of town and pay them to stay there? Basically, what political party has enslaved with welfare benefits for generations of free men?

Archer, you would be a good stalker.
