Who's talking about taking it away? I've seen people say it needs to be changed to be more appropriate and less prone to abuse, but I haven't seen anyone say (in a non-trolling post) "Cancel Welfare and let 'em starve!".

No, they're going to get settled in and comfy, and raise new little leeches.

Welfare needs to contain incentives to get the hell off it as soon as possible. I'm not educated enough in the psychology of poverty to tell you what those incentives need to be, but I'm sure there's people that can figure that out.

That's rough. I'd keep reporting her though. Eventually she'll get a tough caseworker who'll she through her BS. In any case, if one person abuses the system while 1000 use it as it is intended I think those odds are excellent. I've beento countries where lives are held cheaply. It's not pleasant.

we did and like I said it resulted in better bennies for them. And because we do not live in the same state they claim we have no participation first hand experience in what they claim or recieve.

It's not troll bait.....

There are lots of folks who are using the benefits they paid into the system - they need them now. But the government requires them to fill out 24 pages of paperwork, then if you earn a little bit of cash you have to report it, and if you do this or do that you can go to jail. At the end of the day, many folks decide to not even apply for benefits...because of the burden and intrusion into their lives - just to get back some of their own money. It's enslavement either way....pay taxes and get nothing....get your money back with strings attached.... STFU
