OFFICIAL HURRICANE IRENE THREAD

Its funny how people overreact to these types of things...During every one of the blizzards up here people run around checking on nieghbors (like they are gonna die if they can't get to Loaf n Jug for smokes for one day?) and shoveling thier decks, drives and walkways...While we just sit by the fire drinking hot cocoa and watching tv... And during the forest fires people were cutting down trees, franticly watering thier roofs or gathering belongnings for evacuation.. We did'nt do anything. We were told to evacuate but we did'nt. We just stayed home, sat on the deck sipping beers enjoying mother natures fireworks show. We had a great view of the fires..

People are so spastic..Like ants when you kick the ant hill down..They scurry around like crazy, like its the end of the world or something

During the great feb 2010 Tsunami in Hawaii our entire building evacuated...Ours was the only car left in the lot. The little town of Makaha emptied and we were the only ones left. We had the beach, the ocean and the town all to ourselves..It was a horrible panic attack day for everyone else, but a wonderfull and surreal day for us...

A 67 year old woman had a heartattack in New York because they turned the elevators off in her building...People are killing people, Irene hasn't killed anyone yet

I swear to god..If I lived in the antenea of the Empire State building I wouldn't evacuate from this storm..Its just not gonna be that bad my friends..
