Looks like my union brothers at the airport are gonna get 9 holes in at The Green Valley Ranch today and tommaro...I remember coming out of my office at about 9:30 am on 9/11 and some old timer was loading carts with frieght for Laguardia..As I was goin out the door I said something like "Don't bother a$$-Hole, it aint goin anywhere"...I looked back and he was just shaking his head as he kept loading...Funny story about that guy..He was a bad union man..One day he was actually complaining to managment about the lack of accountability around here..I had to pull him aside to tell him to STFU because we all love the total lack of accountabilty...Not a half hour later I hear a huge crashing sound..I came out of my union office and he had accidently dropped some billion dollar machine off his forks and onto the ground completely destroying it... I said hey Dave..You want some accountability now!? Huh Dave!? How bout it!? More accountability!?

I was the one shaking my head that time

Heres another funny story about that guy..They had his 40 year anniversary with the company with cake and everything in the cafeteria..Everyone was there, from top managment to the lowest secretaries..They had a plaque made for him and everything.. Heres the presentation

President of the western region: Dave started his career Baltimore
Dave: I've never even been to Baltimore!
POWD: Well it says here...
Dave: I'm telling you i've never been there
POWD: You did'nt start out there?
Dave stands up and starts walking out : Typical managment puke- you don't know what the f*** you are talking about do you? You don't know anything about me, what we do here, or anything about this job, dont waste my time like this again

Dave took the plaque and as he went by the trash can by the door he threw it out...

I applauded, then all the workers joined in while all the secretaries and management types were all aghast
I gained a little respect for the guy that day..
