No I am not arguing against educating your children, but the three RRR's may be more important at their age than traveling to diplomatic events. I am sure they have impeccable manners, if they are allowed to go to the dinners. My guess is that they are at the hotel with the the nanny. Would you be happier if she had left them at home with a sitter?

As for Archer, Michelle Obama does not resemble ordinary middle class life in any way. That is what I am, her life does not resemble mine. I shop at Target, but that does not make us equals. Costco has better towels, soft, fluffy, and also made in China

petty post ?archer wrote: Wow...talk about sour grapes.
I really have never understood the constant criticism of her...if she wears J Crew she is accused of not dressing like a first lady....if she wears Dior she is accused of what? You tell me hoot owl
Since she must pay for her own clothes, what's your beef? What a petty post Hoot Owl
..I don't even want to think about the reason behind such thoughts. You post like you think she doesn't deserve the same perks other First Ladies have enjoyed.

There is no middle class in the White House, we will watch how grounded they all are. A lot was said about Lady Bird and Betty Ford,Wayn-O wrote: Yeah, well it's really hard to live an actual middle class life when your residence is the White House and your husband is the president. In spite of that I think she has done well to keep both herself and her kids grounded. You don't think so, fine. With many no matter what she does, or doesn't do....they will not be happy. First Ladies used to be off limits for harsh criticism, until Hillary, and she sure got her share of it......then there was Laura, and never a harsh word was spoken about her....then came Michelle, and rarely is anything nice said about her. See a trend here? I guess liberals have better manners when it comes to the treatment of the First Lady of the United States than conservatives do.

Brings to mind a campaign slogan. "Hope and change" Worked for her, how is it working for you?

Michelle Obama is just fine in my book. She is just in a league of her own.
