Photos: The first lady shops at Target

Ironic that we find our First Lady shopping at Target for the first time in her two and a half year reign at the same point in time as her husband is kicking off his reelection bid and turning up the heat on his class warfare rhetoric, don't you think? Why, that must be one of the most amazing coincidences ever recorded.

Didn't the president and his staff learn the lesson about attempting to be too cute by half after trying to schedule his address to a joint session on the same day as a debate??

I am willing to concede that maybe she really did want to go on a shopping trip to feel normal.
She did not dress normal and she had a hat on like she was hiding.
I guess the problem is that she was too stupid to think she could pull it off.

I'm disappointed in your response, PS.

How did you find out this is the first time she's been shopping at Target since she moved into the White House? I don't know either way. Where did you come by your info? If the photo hadn't taken pictures of her, how would we have known she was there? She even said on the campaign trail she's a Target shopper.

Michelle wanted to shop at Target before the Christmas season....she didn't want to have to hear the ringing of the Salvation Army bell ringers requesting donations.

Yeah, she's gotta be stupid, right, NWWM? She can't be an accomplished woman, can she?

Until the photographer showed up, she HAD pulled it off. Did you notice the guy behind her in the first picture. Even the store manager said he didn't know she was in the store until she was leaving and the guy took his photos.

This is one of the dumbest things I have ever read on this site.
Yeah, she should be congratulated for acting like a regular shopper in a target while being the first lady.
It was soooooooo wonderful that she is like everyone else and wants to shop at target.
And that she wanted to hide herself so she could go there.
Wow,I just think she is the best first lady ever....... WoW!
I hope you can hear my sarcasm.

The bigger question is, why does it upset the conservatives so much that she went shopping at target?

I don't care if she shops at target but that does not make me admire her like you guys seem to.
