I'm never surprised at those who jump onto the baby fat obsession ...he's that good. What does surprise me are those who never jump off, but retain their obsession month after month, yet expect him to change.

You do, however, have to have a strong stomach when you go out to work at a plane crash. I had kids in CAP when I was doing my student teaching in western NC in the mountains. Every year someone would crash in those rugged mountains and the kids would be out there trying to locate the crash. They never said they were veterans, nor did my brother, who is a two-time Vietnam Vet with 100% disability.

Listen, I don't know how they ran other CAP wings..I was in a group of about 5 to 7 and we all flew..Whats the point if you don't..? There were no wannabes in my wing..All we did was meet once a week and fly a couple times a month or when we were needed. We had fly-in breakfests, and little field trips to the nearest AFB, or my dad when take us to the airport and we'd sit in the captain seat of a 747 or something..It was fun, but when somebody was lost in Lake Michigan, or when we had to find a small plane crash..It was all business. We served and we served well. I deserve a free meal

You are showing no respect to our service men and woman when you insist on playing "soldier" with your CAP membership, and passing yourself off as someone who deserves the same perks that they do. I won't pretend to believe that would bother you, because you have made it obvious that it doesn't. I'll tell you what. You send me a private message and give me the time and date and the eatery where you intend to try to pass yourself off as a veteran. I guarantee I will show up and expose you for the phony you are. You got enough nerve the try me?

I sure do- I posted the times and dates in the second post in the thread.

But I have no problem with showing up at a restaurant where Baby Fat would like to attempt to cheat the establishment by trying to pass his "air scout" experience as active duty and informing the manager and/or staff what's up. I doubt Baby Fat has the nerve to actually take me up on this, or actually give me valid information as to where he will be, but my comments still serves a purpose... annoying this loud mouth troll.

Well, that is an interesting perspective, but hardly defining. Some actually have fun responding to the ignorance of stupidity. Kinda like a straight man for a comedian. Our newest member sure is entertaining in dealing with whoever CC/VL/FB?etc etc. (yes I know who you are VL) is this minute. Let's face it. Many of us are weary of politics and I don't seen any interest in a philosophical exchange of ideas. So we go fishing for entertainment. Not much to choose from.
