It WAS IN THE ORIGINAL POST... "It will be a felony for adult students to have sex with teachers or any other employee at their school, if the Senate Judiciary Committee gets its way." You even quoted from the ORIGINAL POST. You even pointed out that the information was in the ORIGINAL POST. You were pointing this out to Photo-Fish. I am blaming the reader. Photo-fish evidently did not read the article... it was in the fricking FIRST SENTENCE of the article.

Buzz off.

Manners and civility are just lost on you eh bro?

I read the whole thing, including the comments and then I tried to find some other sources on this topic. In jf1acai's example: The wife being in a secretary position (most likely a daytime job) would not be much influence to her husband's classwork, grades or whatever. Also, they are married and sex is dfinately in the job description for that gig.

I'm losing my sudafed buzz about now and I can not claim coherance or ownership to anything I may or may not have posted in the past 6 hours.

On this forum... not lost, just not needed. I'm writing according to the audience I'm dealing with. And sort of like the GOP twin of certain liberal on here and I got a reputation to up hold. Nothing personal... just my style here.

Fred... did you even read this... (cue Jeopardy theme... ... ... ... ... ...) this is about MICHIGAN, not Colorado. Geeeessshhhhh.

Only read the sampler. Still sounds like an unnecessary law to me.

I agree it's unnecessary. It was sponsored by two Republicans.

I dated my choir teacher in college while in her class and yes, I slept with her. She even gave me a scholarship to run sound and record concerts. I miss those days...

And if "those days" were now a days, you would be eligible for arrest in Michigan if this law passes.

I'd let a professional standards/code-of-conduct manual take care of this one.....

Chances are - it's already covered in a professional code of conduct.

No need for the state legislature to be self-aggrandizing and criminalizing something.

It's likely already unprofessional, and grounds for disciplinary action (which would be noted on an employment record)
