I don't care what the teacher does in their off-time just so long as it's not illegal and never comes into the classroom. Personal and professional lives shouldn't intersect where kids are involved and just because they are a porn star doesn't make them more at-risk for being inappropriate, IMO.

I'm no prude, but I don't see much of a difference when it comes to hookers and porn stars. Both get paid for sex and I'm guessing they both have "issues" that took them to that low end profession. I'm sure there are many ex hookers and porn stars that currentlly teach kids in some way, but given the choice for MY kids, I would prefer a teacher that had more self respect.

In my "perfect" world, I would be able to shop around for my kid's teacher just like I would when I need bodywork on my car, or a doctor, dentist, barber, etc. . Given a lineup of teachers with resumes, I think most people would not be picking the porn star first. Just as guess.
