Let me state it this way:
YOU are sympathetic with the murderers (perpetrators) who are on death row.
YOU are sympathetic with the mothers (perpetrators) who abort (murder) their babies (victims).

Is that better? You feel better with that, now that we have narrowed it down?

Yeah, baby!!!! Throw those accusations and absurdities around with all due force! That'll get you somewhere all right! I could spend a lot of time rebutting you, but you're obviously too closed minded to be flexible enough to entertain any other thoughts and/or opinions that don't lock step with yours. Truth is, you are totally entitled to your opinion as long as you understand it is totally wrong.

Arlen, Arlen, Arlen.

Scum were those with no morality. They valued social standing above all else. Poor women did not seek abortions but the parents of girls with reputations to protect.

Poor women did not seek abortions? You are either misinformed or choose ignorance above facts. One reason Margaret Sanger was arrested was because she promoted condoms, coining the phrase "birth control." Why was she promoting birth control? Because so many poor women were dying from child birth or abortions that were done by "unskilled" practitioners.

Also, skin condoms were expensive and the poor couldn't afford them. With rubber condoms, they could be reused. But birth control was against the law in many states. So what were women to do?

And, unfortunately, in this day and age, there are still a bunch of nuts who think birth control is against their beliefs because it is abortion.

A woman just can't get a break with nuts like that.

Don't ya just love absolute declarations from bat-sh*t-crazy extremists... It makes it so easy to recognize which ones have gone over the edge and can be devoutly ignored....

You do realize you are a left wing extremist don't you?

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

I'm not arguing FOR abortion... I'm arguing that right-wing extremists don't have an implicit right to stick their noses in other people's decisions. If that makes me an "extremist", so be it.

You tell 'em LJ - only left wing extremists have an implicit right to stick their noses into other people's decisions, right?

Ummm, I believe LJ already said, to paraphrase, "If you're against abortion, don't have one." It's a matter of choice for YOUR body.
