Exceptions to Colorado's "Do Not Call" Law
1. prior express permission
2. established business relationship within past 18 months
3. 30 day "inquiry" based window of opportunity
4. calls by or on behalf of charitable organizations
5. political calls; polling calls
6. business to business calls
Exceptions to Federal "Do Not Call" Law
1. calls from organizations with which you have an "established a business relationship" (within the past 18 months or up to 3 months from inquiry)
2. calls for which you have given prior written consent (evidenced by a signed, written agreement between consumer and seller which states that consumer agrees to be contacted by this seller and includes the telephone number to which the calls may be placed - such consent effective unless and until this consumer requests to be placed on "internal" DNC list)
3. calls by or on behalf of tax-exempt non-profit organizations
4. calls by a telemarketer in which the telemarketer making the call has a personal relationship with recipient of the call (limited to families, friends, and acquaintances)

Politicians exempted themselves from the no-call list...(Imagine that?!?!) Legitimate public-opinion surveys; charitable organizations/fund-raising. Businesses that you have done business with before--(unless you specifically tell them not to call)....

I would not call LJ hypersensitive, but willing and able to give back what she gets every day from you guys.... nothing more. I know some have responded to her in an over-the-top way, but if look at the history, most of what you guys complain about her posting it is usually right after an attach on her and her responding in kind.
We all go a bit overboard without provacation when we are passionate about a subject... we ALL love this country and this forum shows that people do.... we all may not agree on much, but I never doubt anybodies love for this country.
