1. The current BOCC and Land Water Trust agree that
the taxpayers "water fight tax" at $1.7 mil is too high.
They want to spend $700,000 on Their special projects.
Do you agree with that.
2. BOCC and Land Water Trust with outsiders(not from county)
want to build a large Sport Stadium within a built up resi-
dential neighborhood against the homeowners wishes.
Will you also continue to spend the taxpayers money
anyway -to build it.
3. State Satutes say commissioners must maintain a road &
bridge budget. Roads to be repaired to prevent unsafe
conditions, inconvenient travel. Vfd other 9+counties still
grade dirt roads every 6-8 weeks just like Park county
did pre 2003. Flume indicates 11/08 ALL candidates said
roads priority #1--never happened. What will you
immediately do if elected.
4. Will you if elected--put out arrest warrants for citizens
who protest/disagree with your policies.
5. Isn't $2-3 mil to high for a communications bunker(?).
6. Favorite trend is to allow(on, off,on LURS) ridgeline homes
to be built blocking/taking other neighbors views. Do
you agree with that program?
7. Will you allow the growing practice of allowing lot splits
to create/generate more spending income for current
BOCC. Or do you feel it creates higher density and
rentors.
sorry i won't be in town to ask these myself but they are important.
For the county commissioners:
What will you do about the conflict of interest the county attorney has and the violation of his ethics when he has other family who head a county department and may be influenced by such family when he provides legal opinions for the county.
What will you do when you find that a current county commissioner who has worked for the sheriff’s dept fails to recuse himself because of conflict of interest from a vote regarding the sheriff’s dept even though he, the commissioner believes he is an honest person and can make these decisions in spite of conflict?
What will you do if you have a conflict of interest?
