All questions must be posed in a format that allows all candidates to answer. Questions cannot be personal or about any ongoing investigation.

Sheriff
1. What is your policy on sexual misconduct by officers on your department?

2. If one of your deputies was involved in a Domestic Violence, how would you "handle" it?

3. If you had a deputy that "perjured" his testimony under oath, at trial, what would you do?

4. If you had a deputy that wrongfully detained a civilan and subsequently effected a "false arrest," what would you do?

5. How many Internal Affairs investigations have you been the subject of?

6. For transparency-are you willing to provide your Internal Affairs and your SSR records for examination?

7. What would be the differences in how you handle law enforcement contacts with other public officials and their families (or your own family) compared to the average person?

8. Will there be a special background check performed on your "chosen" "High School Resource Officer(s)" to make sure they are not a "sex offender". Is it a physc. exam?

9. How will be make sure that your deputies are not in uniform or driving their county vehicles while attending parties, drinking, BBQ's, and other functions?

10. How are you going to enforce or disciplin your men if their County issued weapon is discharged inside their home?

11. How are you going to disciplin your men and women that may be involved in extra-marital internal affairs?

12. How will deputies be trained for domestic abuse situations?

13. currently how are dupties hired and what do you look for in a hire, college education, the police acad?

14. Where do you see Park County Sherrif's dept in 6 months, 1 year and 3 years?

15. Is it acceptable to use profane and rude behavior towards a citizen?

16. Is it acceptable to push your failure to comply with court orders off on the courts and say they are unable to properly write their documents??

17. What are your thoughts on the video that has serviced on youtube and how would you handle the situation differently if given the chance.

18. If you had a supervisor that allowed a deputy to arrest a driver, carrying "medical marijuana" w/ a lawful card, that did not get administered a lawful "Driving While Impaired - Drug" test by a qualified deputy until the following day, what would you do to discipline that "supervisor?"

19. 2d part: Can you tell me what criminal or civil law(s) where violated, if any?


Coroner

1. How many cases have you lawfully worked "as a deputy coroner?"

Commissioner

1. If the reserve balances at the end of next year will be DANGEROUSLY below the "Auditor's Suggested Required Balance," do you think it is wise to build a new $3.1 million Communications center?

2. Are you aware that other counties have outsourced their "911 & emergeny communications" to other counties better equiped? Do you feel this may be a wise decision in light of our deficit budgets?

3. Commissioners: If elected, do you plan to publish the county credit card itemization monthly so the taxpayers can see where their money is being spent?

4. Commissioners: If elected, do you plan to continue the county practice of widespread credit card use, and will you continue the practice of employees using the county credit card for personal expenses?How will deputies be trained for domestic abuse situations?
