Of course, you are better because obama is spending trillions now for our kids and grandiose to repay later. And lady jazzer congrats to you for ignoring the millions of Americans who are still unemployed because obama is incompetent.

And congrats to you for not giving a sh*t about all of the unemployed who were losing their jobs in 2007-2008 at the rate of 750,000/month because Bush was incompetent. Your hypocrisy is duly noted.

The worst gas prices I have seen were the summer of 2008...who was president then? They are definitely going higher again....but if you didnt blame Bush in 2008 why blame Obama now?

I think I still have that rant I saved to a file, where the righties gave the most wonderful defense of how "the President can't be held responsible for gas prices", and how they "were the product of the free market", and "the president shouldn't interfere with the free market"... Hmmmmmmmmmm

Talk about "head in the sand politics"- if all you lefties really think that this country is better off than it was 4 years ago you all are really ignorant indeed.

You're attitude is quite arrogant. You dismiss the current dismal condition of you're neighbors, friends and probably you're own family members. You know good and well that people are experiencing hard times- that good jobs are hard to come by- that millions have lost their jobs under Obama and the government is hiding those facts when they drop off the un-employment system. You dismiss the fact that millions more have taken jobs for less pay than what they were making 4 years ago. You have lost all common sense.

You dismiss the fact that prices are going up on almost everything, that taxes, fees, regulations and the general cost of living is outpacing wage growth. The growing big brothyer government keeps adding more roadblocks for businesses - the same ones who need less government intervention in order to grow and provide good jobs for people. You dismiss the fact that an education is increasingly un-affordable to college students- and the education system continues to serve the educators- not those seeking education. Test scores in grade schools continue to drop and there has been no improvement while costs continue to rise.

You dismiss the fact that our energy is costing us more and more- because government is holding back the development of OUR resources - and promoting a policy of subsidizing more expensive alternative energy at the expense of traditional cost effective sources. This will affect everyone- even you liberals.

You dismiss the fact that our government keeps growing- by means of the borrowing on the credit card- not by growing the economy. If you are better off now than 4 years ago- it's probably because you are tapped into this false economy- be assured, it won't last because it's built on a house of cards- propped up by government spending that we can not afford- and the day is coming when it needs to be paid back with interest.

If you think this country is better off now than 4 years ago- you're just stupid and ignorant. Even if you are personally better off you ignore the fact that this country is NOT better off, in fact our government is leading us into destruction, and it will all catch up to us very soon.

Have fun while it lasts- because it will not last. Yes - Obama can delay reality for a while longer with massive government borrowing and spending- but eventually the less productive economy willl result in a lower standard of living for all Americans, liberals included.

Yes- you can make things appear better than they are by borrowing money- the same way a guy can buy a nice car and a nice house and nice clothes and a gold watch on his credit card- but if he can not afford those things (plus the credit card interest) you know- and I know- reality comes soon enough. That's where we are now, we bought all this stuff we can't afford, and the repo man is on his way to get it back.

Funny, those all sound like the same arguments that were being made at the end of the Bush debacle....

Congrats to you for not giving a sh*t about all of the unemployed who were losing their jobs in 2007-2008 at the rate of 750,000/month because Bush was incompetent. Your hypocrisy is duly noted also. "[M]illions have lost their jobs under [Bush] and the government [was] hiding those facts when they drop[ped] off the un-employment system. You dismiss the fact that millions more have taken jobs for less pay than what they were making 4 years ago." -- Why yes, exactly what the Bushies were doing in 2007-2008 when they were trying to downplay Bush's dismal job numbers.

Eeeek... The sky is falling.... (Except that it's not... It's getting better...And the GOP has nothing left to run on except birth-control, abortion, gay-marriage, and a bunch of unrelated b.s. that has nothing to do with creating jobs...) And their idea of "job creation" is the same old garbage of "trickle-down economics" that didn't work in the first place, isn't working now, and created the mess we're in...

Sux to be you...

That sounds like a Republican campaign speech, Bear

I know you conservatives would like to pretend that there was no president before Obama, and everything was just honky-dory before he took office. But that is the big lie you all hope the American people will believe. I'm sure the Republicans are annoyed that the economy is slowly recovering..they would much prefer that Obama fail and have worked hard to accomplish that goal. But, it is improving and yeah, that seems to piss you conservatives off. It is certainly not where it should be, and many people are still hurting. Why then would any American want to vote for the Republicans who are campaigning on a platform that will make their lives worse?

How about the record length of people on unemployment? It hasn't been this bad since FDR, another Dem, was in office. The Dems claim they are representing the working class, but they sure seem to fail at finding them jobs.

Yes, you can thank all the GOP blockage of job-creation legislation for that. The teabaggers block every attempt to create jobs and then talk about the failure to create jobs? Pullllleeeeze... You guys are like the moron that kills his parents and then asks for leniency because he's an orphan....
