And the largest unprecedented growth in the federal government, in history, not only in sheer numbers but in percentage and in salaries.Joe wrote: I'm voting ABO, anyone but Obama.
Last four years-
Added +30K per household in share of national debt. + 5 Trillion
Several thousands per year in lost interest on savings and even more in IRAs
Several thousands per year in higher health insurance premiums.
Many thousands of new regulations impacting practically everything from banking to health care to car design to energy use.
No substantial movement on entitlement or tax reform or long term debt.
Those are just off the top of my head, I'm sure after a few beers I could think of many more.

Look at how the non union south has higher unemployment rates than the unionized north. How does that fit with your theory.....it seem the blue states are doing better on the whole than red states, even Ohio and Michigan are doing better than Georgia and the Carolinas.

Did you actually look at the list? Your statement would be true if you left off Nevada, California, Rhode Island, Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey, and Indiana.

Did you actually look at the list? Michigan and New Jersey and New York and Pennsylvania are doing better than Georgia and the Carolinas and Mississippi and Florida. This was in response to Fred's claim the the southern states without unions were doing better than the northern states...... Nit pick all you want....Fred's statement was wrong, but it seems to be a popular lie within the conservative ranks. CA and NV last time I looked were in the west......but even if you include them, Fred's statement is still a lie. I apologize for using the terms red states & blue states, apparently you were unable to discern that the discussion was about northern and southern states, and neither of those states qualify.
