He also fabricated much of what he published. No great loss...except in right-wing blogosphere, of course.

I can hardly wait for the stories to start spreading that Obama was somehow involved in his death...

I'm so glad to see you have a healthy respect for the dead... typical socialist response from you. Anything that advances a socialists agenda is fair game in your world... even death. Oh, come on... I could go dig out a couple of pages of the comments when Teddy Kennedy died... No different.

I will not pretend to mourn someone whose M.O. was fabricating fake news stories. Sorry.

He was a warrior, very larger than life. Last week I took him off my twitter feed because he was up at all hours retweeting comments directed at him from the left. I think he loved stirring up hornets' nests.

Someone else was an asshole first.

I blame Bush. So does LJ.

I had no idea that God was having so much trouble with #OccupyHeaven that he needed to call in Breitbart for assistance.

He suffered with heart problems last year so he most likely had a heart attack.

Whether you agree with him or not, like him or not, loss is still a loss. He leaves behind a wife and four children. Prayers to all of them. RIP

While I completely disagreed with his methods, and can't say that I respected him at all, I certainly wish peace for his family. Losing a loved one unexpectedly at that young an age is a extra shock.

And yes, death at 43 of natural causes is definitely possible. I always remember the Olympic ice skater who dropped of a heart attack at age 28 - there are a myriad of medical conditions that can cause an early death, many of which are asymptomatic.

May he rest in peace.

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

At least Media Matters showed some class...

Media Matters, the liberal watchdog that was a frequent Breitbart critic, said the organization's "thoughts and prayers are with his family today."

"Media Matters has a long history with Andrew Breitbart," Media Matters' Ari Rabin-Havt said. "We've disagreed more than we've found common ground, but there was never any question of Andrew's passion for and commitment to what he believed."

Breitbart also helped launch the Huffington Post and Arianna Huffington gave her condolences. And I see Glenn Beck is already stirring the pot regarding the cause of death...
