Yes, because it would be so wrong to even consider that?

Sorry, I don't want a president that believes in Morman nonsense.

So... what religious "nonsense" are you able to put up with. How about some dude who claimed to be the son of a god, multiplied fish and matzah, raised a dude from the dead and then pulled off a little raising from the dead himself. Is that "nonsense" acceptable to you? Because your president claims to believe in those stories.

So what religions have your approval. Would you vote for a Catholic?

I don't pick and choose based on religion. I pick and choose based on their policies.

I'm like Poubelle, they're all nonsense..But nobody can be the President of the United States of America without pretending to love wars, and believe in god.

Two things that are seemingly opposed to eachother

OK. Non answer. The fact is most all candidates from both parties claim to have a religion (including Obama). So who is left for you to vote for?

First off friends..I'm a confirmed Catholic BUT , I remember being in church at a very young age, perhapes 1 or 2, and I remember looking around and thinking to myself that "This is all really a load of happy horse$h!t"

..I went along with it for my mother but I never really believed. Who could? It's crazy!

Well I have always thought that Joseph Smith, the grand poobah of the Mormons, a good ole' snake oil salesman if there ever was one, daddy dearest himself, was having hisself some big-love fun with his followers, by telling them (the story tends to be a wee bit garbled) that he was visited by the great angel Moroni, who bestowed upon him the golden plates, blah, blah, blah. Moroni. So why are they called Mormons and not, well, the obvious? I think JS was playing a joke, being the shyster that he was.

Disclaimer: I find all religions ridiculous.

Poubelle-That was your first post since November of last year. You don't post often, but when you do, its good..its good to see you

Well, glad you are honest. You'll vote for the guy you think is lying to you.

Did you vote for Kerry? Do you think he lied about being Catholic too?

I forget what Al Gore claimed to be.

Try voting for a guy that never lies to you....

Unless you're ridiculously naive, you'll never cast another vote in your life

That was my point.

Can you tell me how Romney has injected his religion into his policy as a politition any more than Obama has?
