Arlen, that is semantics it was close enough. Are you saying you are in favor of controls on automatic weapons?
I will say this. I saw the type of gun used. (I won't tell you who showed it to me) But it is not going to be easy to make an argument on how to control all this. People do use them for hunting because they don't have to reload. Controls, not bans, are maybe going to slow them down by a second.
Arlen, be more specific on your argument. What are the kinds of guns this kid used and I heard a shotgun was one of them, used for in the real world? Explain it better and that might help.
Gun control is unrealistic. Let's be realistic I hate the knee jerk reactions like the 6 year old that got suspended for bringing a butter knife to school. Let's be logical not emotional.

I think you just made a good point. What exactly killed the kids? Was it the booze or was it the car? Which should be demonized?
No, actually my point was about the idea that you shouldn't use people to advance your cause.
MADD is different to me in the fact that they are out spreading the word not using those who died to write an article on some cause. It is different to me and too soon after what happened. Let us get through this first. It is too much for the people out here to deal with right now.
