Mexico requires photo ID for voters. Time to step up to other civilized countries?

We're much more civilized since we went to the honor system

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

And now Holder believes that certain races can't be expected to have photo ID's. Pretty racist sounding to me.

No, the actual data PROVES that the seniors, minorities, and the young overwhelmingly do not have photo-ID's in greater numbers that meet the requirements. It's not a matter of whether Holder believes it or not.

Nice try to play the racist card, though.

Lets offer free ID's, and even free transportation to the DMV for anyone who doesn't have one. To be a productive member of society, or even participate in virtually anything in America, you need a valid ID. Let's get together and get them for all legal citizens for their own benefit....Then nobody will have an issue with voter ID laws.

Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!

Requirements to register to vote in California

6. ID Number. When you register to vote, you must provide your California driver’s license or California identification card number, if you have one. If you do not have a driver’s license or ID card, you must provide the last four digits of your Social Security Number (SSN). If you do not include this information, you will be required to provide identification when you vote.

According to the logic from the dumb ass liberals on this thread, these requirements should be rescinded too! Why should you need an ID or a SSN# to register to vote? That's too much trouble, isn't it? And it's unfair to the elderly and poor.

Boy, providing the last four digits of your Social Security number really will cut down on perceived voter fraud.

Last four? Um.. 2894.

Thanks, you're good to go.

The point is you have to supply some form of identification. You don't think that the state doesn't cross reference your demographic information with the SS# and everything else?

Are you that stupid?

Privelige versus right? Really? Still believe that? Like when 50% of the population couldn't vote until after WWI? Remember when you had to be a white male to vote? Property owner?

Poll taxes? Thoreau going to jail for illegally voting.
