Sorry Dems tacky. Usually the other side stays out of the way during the convention I can deal with that , but during a hurricane he actually comes here to give the speech?

TACKY.

You expect the president to STOP campaigning during the convention? Really? I don't recall any president doing that.

We'll see if Mittens takes the week off during the DNC.

Shouldn't it be: You expect the President to STOP FUND RAISING during anything else that's happening in the World?

BTW, PAY ATTENTION!!!! ("I don't recall any President doing that.") Bulls**T!

But attacking his family is really desperate and indicates that you have nothing of substance beyond hate and anger.

This was about the president's strategy.

OP, let me put it this way. I think the tradition of respecting the conventions are important. I hate to see this happen. I don't know who started this but Obama did it first. If Romney does it, I will bitch about that as well. I still stand behind what I said. This is tacky and looks desperate and his strategy the first time was not like this. I didn't say anything about his family or others being tacky I was talking about as a president. It is no secret that I dislike Obama but I was talking about a reelection strategy. I believe he is desperate because he did not do this the first time, he was calm and did not attack like this.

Explained.

You know it is funny because after the Colorado shooting both candidates said they were going to not attack each other in this state. WTH? They decided to give us a break because of the shooting. What does that tell you?

What else would you expect from our resident sociopath who believes that it is his right to commit violence and murder against those who disagree with his political views.

So Romney is in Illinois today campaigning, but Obama can't campaign because the RNC is having their convention? Why isn't Romney staying at the convention if it's so important?

Mitt Romney's campaign plans in Indianapolis today apparently have been trimmed back following his speech at the American Legion national convention because of the Gulf hurricane's effect on air travel, according to his campaign.

This was reported August 22.

Romney officials said the former Massachusetts governor was expected to hold events during the Democratic National Convention, which begins in Charlotte, N.C., on Sept. 4. The places he’ll visit have not been announced
