So yeah, desperate to stop Romney? You bet we are.

You and I both know that it doesn't matter what Romney and Ryan propose, the right will vote for them because they are not Obama....they couldn't care less what they will do to the middle class, what will happen to medicare, what cliff they drive us off.......as long as they are Republicans that is ALL that matters. Remember the primaries, no one here liked Romney (at least I don't recall a single conservative singing his praises,) and many actively bashed him in favor of other candidates. Now? They act like the man walks on water, and Ryan is the next coming. Go figure....
I've been asking for months for a positive justification for Mitt-the-Twit... So far, I've gotten nothing except he's the "Not-Obama"... Kool-Aid is still Kool-Aid...
Okay, the reason you hear about class warfare all the time is this one point. The whole county is sucking right now. Part of this, I believe is because there are too many people that have little motivation to work. We need some excitement. That is what makes the country work. Sorry guys but if you screw up for 4 years then you get fired. But if we all do good the middle class will do good.
I was not wild about Clinton but one thing he was good at? Making people believe things were going great and that helped the economy. Obama does not get that. This economy is sucking right now. All my son's friends are just going back to school because there are no jobs to be had that is a big problem and Obama had his chance. His blame game is tacky. Sorry, I know I said it again but that is his issue.
The GOP has been telling their faithful that Obama has failed for so long that they actually believe it, I don't think he has. Did he achieve everything I wish he had, no....but we are coming out of the recession, signs of growth are emerging, there are jobs being created in the private sector after we had been losing up to 800,000/month, the housing market is slowly improving in many areas. Yeah, it isn't fast enough for this instant gratification country....we want it all and we want it now. It's like trying to turn an ocean liner around on a dime.....it just doesn't happen that way. But now that the economy is showing signs of improvement, and jobs are being created, and small businesses are growing, the Republicans come along and tell the American people, vote for us, we will do it faster and bigger and better, but give no details for how they will do it. I think they know full well they can't do better than Obama already has, but it sure is fun to pretend that Obama failed and they have the magic bullet to instantly fix the economy. Any rational person knows they don't, it's all political rhetoric. But keep on believing...if Romney/Ryan manage to win I suspect we will be revisiting this in 4 years.....but then you all will be telling us how hard it is to get an economy moving in 4 short years after decades of mismanagement and profligate spending ....sound familiar? it's what the Dems have been telling you for 4 years.....and surprise....it's true.

I know that is enough for most of you, but a change to someone worse is not rational. The simple fact that he could be choosing a couple Supremes is reason enough to keep him out of the White House.
Man oh man. Substitute Obama for Romney and Republican for Obama in the above statements and you have done an excellent job of explaining why I am doing all in my ability to make sure it is a one term proposition for the current occupant of the Oval Office.
The man got elected on a Rorschach Test slogan 4 years ago, along with a 60 seat majority in the Senate and an overwhelming majority in the House, simply because they weren't Republicans and its been down hill ever since. The one bright spot is that the populace recognized the extent of their mistake in 2008 and made a course correction in 2010 to put an end to the shenanigans of the Democrats. Now all we need do is to complete the task started in 2010 this fall.

Nope. I'll stand right here and say if Romney wins, and the economy is still stuck in the mud in 4 yrs, and we are still driving off the fiscal cliff at the rate we are doing today. I'll say Romney should let someone else take a shot too...just like Obama should have done. You don't get 8 yrs to fail...do something in 4 yrs, or admit you don't know what to do.
Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!

If you want to be, press one. If you want not to be, press 2
Republicans are red, democrats are blue, neither of them, gives a flip about you.

You are talking about approximately half the population of the country, many of whom are middle class. In what reality does that make any sense?
