Obama shows up in Colorado and gives a speech during the National Republican Convention and a Hurricane?

Sorry Dems tacky. Usually the other side stays out of the way during the convention I can deal with that , but during a hurricane he actually comes here to give the speech?

And usually, candidates running for office don't slam the current president's foreign policies when they are traveling abroad... I need look no further than the GOP to find examples of tacky....

Lets stay on subject. What do you have to say about Obama not the GOP?

You expect the president to STOP campaigning during the convention? Really? I don't recall any president doing that.

We'll see if Mittens takes the week off during the DNC.

The issue wasn't the convention.
It was the hurricane.
Perhaps a stump speech in New Orleans might have been a little more presidential.

Google is your friend...

Bucking tradition, President Obama set out on a two-day campaign swing on Tuesday, aiming to steal just a bit of the spotlight from Republicans rallying in Tampa, Fla.

Obama was scheduled for a college tour, with events at Iowa State University and Colorado State University. He's slated to hold a rally in Charlottesville, Va., on Wednesday.

As a courtesy, past presidential candidates have curtailed campaign activities during the other party's conventions. But Obama's campus swing -- aimed at firing up a key demographics -- coincides with the first full day of the Republican speech-making.

Republicans aren't abiding by the unwritten rule this time either. Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are expected to hold events during the Democrats' party next week.

Yeah, a stump speech as the hurricane makes landfall.

"Never mind the hurricane. I'm here to get your vote."

(Of course, since they asked for the evacuation of New Orleans, I'm not sure who he would be talking to)

That's a great idea! NOT.

I just saw this on his facebook page. I am just sayin. Usually they are respectful during conventions. This makes him look tacky. I don't care who you are.

Gov. Chris Christie is endorsing Mitt Romney at the Republican National Convention tonight. Share this if you think America can do better than Team Not-Quite-Last-Place.

This is not the Obama we saw in the last election. And it certainly does not make him look presidential.

I hope he keeps it up. LOL
