NO is my stand at this point because I do not have enough info #1 and #2 we do not have any funds to spend on recreational things when there are much more pressing needs.

thank you sam for running and bringing issues front and center. i had hoped to see you get past the good ole boy network and see some independent thinking and good judgment. we need more people like you.

Sam, I was hoping you'd get the nod (you certainly had my vote) and am disappointed for you. Please stay involved -- your time to serve may yet be in the future. You ran a clean, honest campaign and I respect you for it.

Thank you everyone for your support and votes. I am sorry it did'nt turn out different too but not just for me but for the county. I do plan to stay involved and in four years run again so I will keep in touch with you all here and expect your support then for sure. I believe that we all need to be heavily involved between now and four years from now, and keep speaking out against the things that are not right in our government right now! Thank you again and keep in touch, sincerely Samantha Bertin

Tighe is term limited in 2 years however he is still a deputy with the PCSO and guess what Fred will step down in 2 years and Tighe will be our new sheriff - as if things couldn't get worse in Park County. Another lifetime welcher off our tax dollars YIPPEE and Park County voted for NO CHANGE - the majority like to pay these idiots year after year so I say the idiots that voted them in without doing the research you all should be the only ones paying for their paychecks! Not me!

How will Tighe become our new sheriff without a vote of the people?

Tighe is out in two years but he lives in district 1 so you should find someone from that district to run to replace him. I will always be district 3 as I am not moving from here. I don't think he will go for sheriff though, just my opinion. The sheriffs race won't be back for another four years either. I can't believe that we ended up changing nothing with this election other than the coroner. Oh well next time maybe?

You're right -- I wasn't thinking districts. Dang!
