It's a good thing that RMoney is standing there in the wings with his vast knowledge of foreign policy, (and apparently dumb enough to believe his own talking-points.)
Actually, it really is an issue of permission from the standpoint of airspace clearance between Israel and Iran. The Israelis can't just fly military aircraft through the airspace of other countries (who are likely allied with the US) without the proper clearances.
As for you questioning Mr. Romney's foreign policy knowledge I believe he has a lot more than you give him credit for. And as I recall, neither executive or foreign policy experience were a prerequisite when you voted President Obama into office so why would you apply a different standard to Mr. Romney in this election cycle?
For someone who is so quick to call other people dumb.......

Ya, Obama didn't need foriegn policy experience iin 2008 because there wasn't anything major happening in the world at that time :Whistle And we already know what great strides Obama and his clown posse have made with the ME in the last four years.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
Obama was on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and conservatives said he didn't have enough foreign policy experience. Romney was a one term governor and has zero foreign policy experience beyond shipping jobs and his money overseas and now conservatives think that is just ducky.

I still disagree with the characterization of Mr. Romney having zero foreign policy experience. The governor of any state interacts internationally concerning commerce. I don't have time to cite exact dates and times of then Governor Romney's travels and hosting of foreign dignitaries or business people.....but I'm certain it happened when he governed Mass.
Then there is the small matter of organizing the Winter Olympics in Utah. The Olympics are a foreign affair and Mr. Romney did just fine in organizing an event that was heading for the shoals.
As for President Obama's "vast" foreign affairs experience, I would have to ask how all that is playing out for us as a nation today? Where is all the love and respect I heard the left promise? I'm just not seeing it. He may have extraordinary foreign policy experience but I don't see evidence of that experience being applied for the good of our nation.
I know you are in the can for Mr. Obama and can't see it....but someday history will tell the real story.
Yea Obuma has done a bang up job. I really want four more years of it - not! Archer I think you would vote for Hitler if he was a democrat, no questions asked.
bumper sticker - honk if you will pay my mortgage

"A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government." Thomas Jefferson

Like Sarah Palin? Really, you're going to assume the man has foreign policy experience because he was governor of a state for 4 years and you're certain he hosted foreign dignitaries and traveled the world with foreign policy in mind,? I want more than your certainty that it happened. If he really did all that, why isn't it in his stump speeches?

And I know you are in the can for Romney and will proclaim his foreign policy credentials that you have no proof of beyond you are certain he does.

Negotiating with foreign companies, rather than foreign governments & heads-of-state, to ship more jobs and money overseas hardly counts as "foreign policy experience." He's already proved he doesn't have a clue. And, unfortunately, the country can't wait for him to convene a focus-group to see what the best option is, politically, every time there's a crisis.
