Why would it be reasonable to be outraged about being correct? That would be like getting mad because you expected your cat to purr and it does. Or getting mad because you expected your car to start in the morning and it caught on the first turn of the key.
I never could make sense of "progressive" logic. Would someone explain to me why I should be outraged that cats purr, cars start, and Romney is the moderate all knew him to be?

HUH?
PS yoy are way more articulate than this tripe. Are you flustered?
All you lefties think that PBS subsidy is worth borrowing money from China for?
You all don't get it- really, we owe 16 trillion dollars and we keep borrowing to pay for government that we don't need.
In fact- Big Bird will be just fine without the government money- turns out he sells alot of BB merchandise that helps to pay for the show. That's right- Big Bird is a capitalist, but who turns down free money?
Public broadcasting will do just fine without the taxpayer borrowed money- and so will a hell of alot of other line items that need to be cut. And if it turns out that we really really need somthing back- we can change it.
One thing we don't need is a bunch of commies like Democracy Now and al jazeera and Russia Today being broadcast with taxpayer money- get rid of that trash ASAP. It's all pure propaganga that we pay for.

What a bunch of kool aid drinking fools.
Have fun, I am out.
For the Left who thinks the GOP is run by the ultra-right, why was Mitt chosen over TEA Party favorites like Michelle Bachman and Santorum? Why was a Mormon who had a liberal record running Massachussets chosen over Newt Gingrich who created the first budget surplus in decades?
Simple, because the people vote in the primaries, not the tea party leaders nor those higher-ups in the GOP who cater to the tea party. The GOP went too far right in 2010 and in their candidates for president..... Mitt is the price you pay for that.
how do you know the money for PBS is borrowed from China? Maybe the money Romney wants to spend extra for defense is going to be borrowed from China.....
Almost half of the money government spends is borrowed. What little the economy is producing right now dosn't even come close to paying for the massive government we have created.
The debate was worthless. I learned nothing new from either candidate or their platforms. Did you? Nobody won anything. Style won out over substance. That is NOT what wins debates.
Though I must say that Romney's constant smirk creeps me out.
Sesame Street earns over $100 million a year! You know all of those toys, board games, figurines & dolls you see in stores and beneath Christmas trees every December?!? THOSE AREN'T JUST GIVEN AWAY FOR FREE!!! Its called licensing and royalty rights. Gerber, and Hasbro, and Tonka, and Schwinn, and General Mills all will PAY for advertising slots during Sesame Street.

We need massive cuts now.
And we won't get that no matter who wins. The best scenario? Mitt wins, the economy comes back, and tax receipts as a percentage of spending rises higher than 50%.
If Obama wins, four more years of a stagnant economy, more record numbers of people added to the disability rolls, increases in food stamp allocations, less people paying into Obamacare and more people taking out benefits, and the unemployed are given tax subsidized medical insurance.
