And the foreign affairs debate coming up is already won by Romney. Romney doesn't even have to debate anything... he can just stand there and repeat some of the current headlines coming out of the middle east.
It is interesting to read and watch the commentary after the debate.
My thoughts on the candidates was that Romney did a slightly better job of articulating his position.
The first thing i did after the debate was to flip over to MSNBC to get a feel for how the left perceived the debate.
I have to say that I was shocked to hear how quickly people turn on someone.
I personally think it is very helpful to be able to see the debate replayed as it gives you an opportunity to really tune in on specifics that you may have missed.
The one statement that keeps playing in my head......
"You can say something over and over but it doesn't make it true"

I watched MSNBC most of the night and it was like they were mourning a death... quite funny actually. I think even they finally see the emperor has no clothes (and no clue). But don't despair lefties... these "journalists" will find a way to bury this disaster by the weekend. Hacks like Schultz and Madcow had to call it for what it was last night, but they won't be pulling a Scarborough, they have their own losing ideologies to protect.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
As I recall...Obama refused to articulate his "plan" fully during the 08 election. It was frustrating because he promised "Hope and Change" without articulating how he would accomplish this. Interesting human nature now that Obama supporters try to nail Romney on the exact same behavior. Obama had NO record of success to draw from.
At least we have a record of success to draw from with Romney.
I suspect that Romney will have to tweek his vision to get it passed which is why far right folks don't support him but this is the real world and you have to compromise to get things done.

Good point... if Obama was honest in 08, he would have told the American voters that he would spend his first 18 months focused on partisan health care bill behind closed doors... instead of trying to rescue the economy. If he was honest.

I'm rewatching this and Obama lost in the first segment when Romney stated that 1/2 of all people employed by small business would be affected by Obama's plan. Obama looked shocked. He had no idea. I think he actually believed his tax the rich mantra.
