Stoner skier: Should we ski in Utah this year or Colorado where we can buy pot legally?
In Colorado, skiing under the influence carries up to a $1,000 fine. C.R.S. 33-44-109(9). Since pot will be regulated like alcohol, skiing stoned would not be such a good idea.

I've never seen anybody smoke up while on the slopes rofllol rofllol rofllol
edit to add: Or on the chair lifts or in the smoke shack in the trees off of peak 9 at Breck.
Stoner skiers and snowboarders? Like Grady says, it just doesn't happen. (LOL!!!)
I can even remember an Olympic snowboarder losing his medal because of a positive MJ result. Although I wouldn't call it a preformance enhancing drug...

You'd better make plans to have it renewed TM, just to be on the safe side. I honestly think that there will be both a legal challenge and an injunction issued at the State Court level that is upheld when the decision is appealed to the federal courts.
Our newly elected Democratic State Legislature may well be willing to pass the bills that the amendment requires of them, but I don't expect that our governor, who opposed its passage, will be willing to affix his signature to them. Perhaps he may allow them to sit on his desk with no action and become law that way, but I don't expect that he will raise a vigorous defense of the amendment when it hits the courts. He has an election he wants to win 2 years from now after all and he might have ambitions that go beyond that.
Can anyone tell me where I can finally get my legal pot? I've stayed away from ever using it mainly because I was always bummed by the possibility of getting busted. I just didn't need that trouble in my life. But now... where do I get it? I'm ready for it.

Bad news, it's not legal yet.
Not until the legislature passes the law required by the amendment and the governor signs it.
