Bad news, it's not legal yet.

Not until the legislature passes the law required by the amendment and the governor signs it.

Ok... fine... be legalistic if you want... but my question is still valid. Where do I get it? Does anyone have a few extra ounces that they want to sell? Don't be stingy... you'll be able to get more. Or just give me a contact... anything?

That's not my understanding. Here is the language from 64....

(9) Effective date. UNLESS OTHERWISE PROVIDED BY THIS SECTION, ALL PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE UPON OFFICIAL DECLARATION OF THE VOTE HEREON BY PROCLAMATION OF THE GOVERNOR, PURSUANT TO SECTION 1(4) OF ARTICLE V.

I think it's effective now- try asking VL or LJ for some- I know they are always high on somthing.

And I looked up SECTION 1(4) OF ARTICLE V of the colorado constitution....

(4) The veto power of the governor shall not extend to measures initiated by or referred to the people. All elections on measures initiated by or referred to the people of the state shall be held at the biennial regular general election, and all such measures shall become the law or a part of the constitution, when approved by a majority of the votes cast thereon, and not otherwise, and shall take effect from and after the date of the official declaration of the vote thereon by proclamation of the governor, but not later than thirty days after the vote has been canvassed. This section shall not be construed to deprive the general assembly of the power to enact any measure.

So... shall take effect from and after the date of the official declaration of the vote thereon by proclamation of the governor, but not later than thirty days after the vote has been canvassed.

So max of 30 days I think.

Just make sure if you decide to become a user, that (if you work) your company drug policy allows it. We have been given an official form to distribute to our employees, since it is still not allowed at our place of work. If you are injured on the job, and a drug screen shows positive for pot, your workers comp will be cut.

Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!

It will be interesting to see if the naysayers in this debate turn out correct, do you think legal MJ will increase underage consumption? Will it be too troublesome to set up the new regulations?

Portugal decriminalized dope and it seems to have reduced drug crime. Amsterdam did the same and became a party place for foreign nationals, and now they have changed the rules and only want locals to be able to do soft drugs.

Will it be too troublesome to set up the new regulations?

Everyone keeps saying how complicated this is going to be- I don't see any complication here at all. All law enforcement has to do is quit busting people for pot- and they will be in compliance.

The law makers will make plenty of regulations to be sure, this is what they are experts at. In fact- they can outlaw any business sales according to the law- and I think many cities and counties will do just that.

It's not complicated at all- the stuff is legal now.
