Don't count on it... You're running out of angry white guys. The GOTP won't catch the Dems, or the PEOPLE, asleep at the next mid-term like they did in 2010. I rather suspect we'll see more of the teabaggers booted out. (Bachmann only won by a couple of thousand votes...I expect her to be gone in 2014...among others.)

All of the governors who screwed the people over voter-suppression laws, and morons like Gov. Vaginal-Probe and waging the War-on-Women; and those that are going to have to answer to their citizens about screwing them out of the coverage and insurance pools because they'd rather play politics than take care of their people... The voters are going to remember.. An you know what--Their votes aren't somehow worth "less" than the teabaggers.... They will remember-in-November/2014... AND in 2016...

The GOTP is selling the same ol' "You're on your own" / "I've got mine, screw you" garbage they've lost with for 5 of the last 6 elections. You got a putrid product, you have no one left to sell it to, and the more your wacko-candidates talk to them about the "47%", "legitimate rape" and "self-deportation", and "winning because they got "gifts" from the gub'ment" the faster your party is going into the dustbin of history. And you still think if you trot out some guy with a Hispanic surname, and who looks a little bit Latino, (but still selling the same snake-oil) that it will "woo" the demographics that you ticked off? I am constantly amazed at the shallowness of the GOTP strategists. And they STILL think part of the reason they lost was because they didn't "stick to their talking points", and avoid answering questions they didn't want to answer... How did that ol' "Avoid talking to the press; avoid answering questions; avoid press conferences--(unless it's FauxNews)" thing work out for ya? Ask Sharron "Second Amendment Remedies" Angle, Christine "I'm-not-a-witch" O'Donnell, Paul Ryan, Mitt-Flop... Those days are gone.

By the way did you ever get an answer on which "tax loopholes" Mitt-Flop was planning on closing? Mortgage deduction? State/Local Taxes? Charitable donations? Yeah, I don't remember one either....

PLEASE, keep nominating wackos like the last round of candidates...Add in Rand Paul...And hey!, how about another Bush?!? Yeah, that's it! Try to sell all the people who voted for the "NOT-RMoney" on the idea that they should ignore the previous two loser-Bushes, and "No, really!...This time we've got a good one!"

None of the whackos I vote for in the primaries make it to the nomination. That's why I could only come up with Romney being the Not-Obama.

One good candidate, that's all I ask for.... Just one....

And for all the religious right to forget to vote in the primaries.

It the religious conservative candidates do lose again in 2014 and 2016, will they check out of the Republican party? Can a fiscal conservative only party win nationally? Would a non religious GOP attract enough Dem centrists to become a true moderate party?

You'd better hope they do... Otherwise, you have ZERO chance of winning...

Fiscal and social conservatives are pulling each other down and neither can win an election on their own. They are starting to have issues winning elections together. If the fiscals dumped the socials, they would have a way better chance of bringing some votes across the aisle. If they cling to the socials, they will become the 21st century Whigs.

What I see is a whole lot of slow learners in America. It seems like some 51% (you know...that glaring mandate) didn't figure it out in the first four years. The only medicine left is four more years of it. It will be interesting to see where we are in 2016 as they try to convince us that the next good idea is Hillary.

I wonder if the age thing will come up for Hillary like it did for McCain. Remember that discussion? We will see.

I'm already convinced that next good idea is NOT to vote for whomever the GOTP comes up with. The same tired ideas, and trickle-down-that-doesn't.

[sarcasm font]Yep, the reason Romney lost is that the majority of people are idiots. Jesus...[sarcasm font]
