Barack should have just retired to Hawaii for as much effect as he will have guiding the country the next four years.

It just sux to be you, don't it? rofllol
I will be fine. It is Americans who will be suffering, as the poverty rate continues to climb, household wealth continues to fall, more families try to survive on food stamps as food costs rise and the dollar continues to decline.

What is really funny is watching the contortions from our resident conservatives who on one hand wail and cry about the damage being done by the current President and on the other hand go on and on about how impotent and ineffective he is.
Truth be told, when looking back at the landmark legislation that he has pushed through an obstructionist Congress, he has to be considered on of the strongest Presidents in modern history. Look at the landmarks that have taken place, tough regulations on a corrupt financial industry, kept the automotive industry relevant, prevented the country from entering the worst depression in 80 years, ended DADT, gutted DOMA, enacted the most comprehensive health care reform in modern history, ended one major war, ending a second major war, created more private sector jobs in four years than the previous president did in 8 years, deported record number of illegal immigrants, while reducing the flow of illegal immigrants into the country, reduced the US dependency on foreign oil, and on and on and on.

Tough regulations on a corrupt financial industry? LOL, you really need to move beyond your slanted media. Obama just had to fire his SEC person because she wasn't tough enough on the bad guys.
Created more private sector jobs? Then why are more total Americans still unemployed than four years ago? Why are there a record number on food stamps if Obama has created good jobs?
And then the ones you want to claim Obama did when it was world events. Deportations? Less illegals? They went home because there aren't any jobs in America, just ask all the 8% on unemployment now, and the 20% who are underemployed.
Reduced the US dependency on foreign oil? Please! If anything, Obama's EPA has decreased drilling on public lands, the private leases are reducing our dependence.

So do you think that President Obama is going to be able to fix the economy during the next four years?
She thinks it is already fixed. All is sunshine and roses.
Michele has cured obesity. Obama has fixed small businesses by shopping on small business Saturday. Biden has helped write jokes for comedians and Pelosi has taken back the House.

I believe and hope that the obstructionist GOP are coming around to serve the public that elected them, rather than putting their party over the interests of the public. We are seeing more and more GOP agreeing that it will be necessary to increase tax rates along with cutting spending. That being said, certainly, barring some unforeseen catastrophe, the economy will continue its recovery over the next four years. The more the GOP gets on board with the Obama plan, the faster the economy will improve.
