We are seeing more and more GOP agreeing that it will be necessary to increase tax rates along with cutting spending. That being said, certainly, barring some unforeseen catastrophe, the economy will continue its recovery over the next four years. The more the GOP gets on board with the Obama plan, the faster the economy will improve.
The GOP who fought Obama were re-elected by the voters in their districts despite Congress having record low ratings.
