I wonder how many new members there are for the Brady Bunch, and the new group formed by Gabby Giffords & Mark Kelly, Americans for Responsible Solutions
? They're looking to raise $20 million the first year, and they already have their first $1-million gift.
I have a feeling more Americans are fed up with the NRA and the number of gun-deaths in the U.S. than there are registered gun-nuts.

Good. Which will encourage more people to join the NRA and other groups to counter and get the message out that guns don't kill, people do. Came back to edit, make that stupid people do and legislating doing away with guns or limiting them isn't going to fix stupid people.
IN NOVEMBER 2014, WE HAVE A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY TO CLEAN OUT THE ENTIRE HOUSE AND ONE-THIRD OF THE SENATE! DONT BLOW IT!
“When white man find land, Indians running it, no taxes, no debt, plenty buffalo, plenty beaver, clean water. Women did all the work, Medicine man free. Indian man spend all day hunting and fishing; all night having sex. Only whit man dumb enough to think he could improve system like that.” Indian Chief Two Eagles
Geez, maybe rather than joining groups that have their own agenda, we should actually discuss and think for ourselves..........
Nah. Too much work. Come on guys. Do you really have no ideas or thoughts of your own?
How many more times must I "express thoughts of my own" before they are acknowledged? I've already stated it pretty clearly at least 6 times... Will 7 be the magic number?
The NRA has added 100,000 members in three weeks, (according to the NRA.)
I recently donated to them. I figure it is cheaper doing a group buy with the NRA of legislators than hiring a defense attorney to keep my Grandpappy's WWI issued .45 pistol after the state Dems make it illegal.

Yes, thank you. You have. I'm addressing those who seem to be arguing for no regulation at all. Is that indeed what they are advocating? All I hear are a chorus of "No"s without any justification or ideas of their own. Should every single person be able to buy whatever military style weapon they desire? I'd like to remind everyone of the second amendment (which I wholeheartedly support) A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. Regulation is right there, in the first clause. What does that mean?
Although the entire nation is saying that our mental health system is a total failure, let's just ignore those facts and focus on the "easy," "LAZY" solution, which is to enact pages and pages of new gun restrictions. I'm not going to tirelessly link everything for ya'll, cause this horse has been beaten to DEATH on other threads.
You could COMPLETELY ban every gun on the face of the planet, and you know what? It won't fix anything. It'll make you feel a little better about yourselves (anti-gun peeps), but then a guy will blow something up (like Oklahoma City???) and you'll want to ban something else. Ban ban ban, ban it all, ban ban ban. Sounds like a flock of sheep around here.
BUT WAIT!! Before you call me a knuckle dragger, I DO in fact agree with those that say that AK's, AR's and those types of weapons seem a little like abuse of the second amendment right. When you start "needing" those types of weapons, then you've lost me. I've been a gun enthusiast for years, and here's the weapons I own: Benelli p.a 12ga, Mossberg .22 b.a long rifle, Taurus PT111 MP 9mm, Winchester Mod. 70 b.a 7mm MAG, and a .40 cal that is a p.o.s that I'm getting rid of soon.
We can do all the regulations the anti-gun loons want, but when things keep hitting the fan, and people find whatever they can to kill one another, where will the line be drawn?
"Regulated" meant more like well-equipped than legally monitored.
And you do know if you go get the right licenses and pay the necessary tax you can buy fully automatic weapons, artillery, and grenade launchers? And these very "evil" military grade weapons have almost never been used in crimes. (They do tend to be super expensive, an M-16 will cost you $20,000.)
