I think it's only fair that those who pay for their own forum should also pay their fair share in the form of a 25% "fairness tax". That way a liberal or two can get their own forum for free.

This one made me sad. But, I guess hating on the other side is the approved way to go. Personally I find it shallow and boring. Well it was ment as a joke, hence the smiley face. Not that you need to find it funny. There was no hate intended and I see no problem joking about the politics of one side or the other.
I find it more sad that some people are upset that Bob paid for his own forum. What's the deal with that? If you don't want to visit Bob's forum, don't go there. I don't see what it has to do with the Courthouse.
There are advertisers here too who have their own forum and can moderate them as well. Anyone have a problem with that? The good thing is that it gets SC some revenue to help keep this great site stay in operation!
So if anyone from any side of the isle wants to pay for their own forum and thus help this site financially, I say go for it!

I don't do donations (I expect to earn my keep), but I do gratefully appreciate donations to any mountain area nonprofit on our behalf, I beseechingly request you Shop Local and mention to any Business Partners that you patronize that you saw them here so they know they're getting value out of advertising with us, and I definitely encourage you to vote for/nominate us as your favorite website if you feel we've earned it in any contests that come up (psst, The Flume's is going on right now - pick up a copy of last week's or this coming week's paper for a ballot)! :thumbsup:
