Too bad we don't have information that shows how many attacks have been thwarted. It seems that these guys are migrating to smaller, one off attacks which are much more difficult to prevent. While it is useful to question for the purposes of improving public safety, it is just wrong to play politics with this.

The reality is... it is politics... you can't divorce the two. When politicians are driven by ideologies and not the constitution, then every move they make, every sentence uttered, every law they create... it will be political.

Does it really matter how many have been stopped? The radicals only need to be successful once, the ones seeking to stop them have to be successful every time to prevail.
IEDs have come to our Union. It really wasn't so much a matter of if as it was of when.
And I can't help but wonder, is this 19 year old "kid" the next terrorist that will be hired as a professor ala Kathy Boudin or Bill Ayers?

Nonsense, IEDs have been around since the invention of gunpowder. The largest IED on our nation's land was of course on April 19, 1995 (unless you count the airliners on 9/11 as IEDs). And of course even Printsmith knows that this 19 year old kid will never set foot outside of bars.

The Boston Bomber never be freed? Hopefully you are right, but America can be a pretty forgiving nation. Bill Ayers was forgiven and tenured and hosting fundraisers for President.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
How many people did Bill Ayers kill? How many times was he convicted for crimes? I don't condone his early actions as an activist, but he is not comparable to what happened in Boston, despite the sick attempts you and Printsmith to link the two.
